The Celerity 20 HP Biological Indicator provides rapid confirmation of processing after a VHP sterilization or biodecontamination cycle in sub-atmospheric conditions.

The Celerity HP Incubator features eight biological indicator wells and provides final, fluorescent results within 20 minutes.

How Celerity HP Biological Indicators and Incubators Work

Each biological indicator vial is inoculated with Geobacillus stearothermophilus bacterial spores and contains a defined media within the vial cap. The vial cap label features a chemical indicator for hydrogen peroxide sterilization.

The biological indicator is then activated using a “twist and flick” motion, which reduces contamination risk and eliminates the need for a separate activator.

Upon activation, the biological indicator is incubated using the Celerity HP Incubator. A negative result indicates conditions for sterilization were achieved.
