There is a new grade of flexible Tyvek® material specifically designed for use in pharmaceutical steam sterilization applications thanks to a collaborative effort between STERIS Life Sciences and DuPont. This new grade of uncoated, flexible Tyvek® mitigates the risk of residue from the wrapping materials being deposited on critical equipment surfaces during autoclave steam sterilization.

Purefit Sterilization Bags

Purefit sterilization bags are available in almost any combination of lengths and widths. The flexible nature of the Tyvek® material used to construct the bags makes Purefit sterilization bags ideally suited for very large, small or irregularly shaped items. All sterilization bags are available with a drawstring option for simple closing and opening.

Purefit Elasticized Bowl Covers

Purefit elasticized covers are made from Tyvek® material with attached elastic and are used to protect openings, such as the inside surfaces of stopper bowls. The elastic makes these covers simple to put on and take off. The ease of removal facilitates aseptic presentation, allowing the covers to remain in place until immediately before the parts are put into use on the filling line.
